What company would you work for?
I don’t have that much to say today..so I will be make this brief and get to the point. Despite your current position at your current company…is there any company in particular you would want to work for? Either because its cool, they have a free lunch, naptime, game-room, benefits, higher pay or location.
My dream job: My own company making me a decent living…nothing fancy..I don’t need a bazillion dollars…but that I was able to work from my beach house somewhere in Maui and then transfer to somewhere in the mainland with lots of trees and great scenery. My command center would have a birds eye view of something pretty and I would be content to work and watch life pass me by.

Got to love the virtual work environment. I would love to be able to work (through a dependable broadband connection) from a home on the beach in Costa Rica (west coast) surfing whenever I had a break in my calendar…or whenever I had a “meeting”.

I want to own my own business consultancy firm, coffeeshop, bookstore and have it all in one building, which I will also own. It’ll be somewhere urban with a sub-urban feel to it (lots of trees, a pond somewhere, good parking, and wide open roads).
That will be the head office from where I will run all my other businesses: a beverage manufacturing firm, a corporate-run farm, a bio-science research lab and a software development company.

Those are great and yes…..its all about dreaming. I will be the first in line to buy a cup of coffee…and just a regular cup please…no nonfat, low whip mocha 1/2 caf chino for me.

i guess the company id work for would be a company who knows how to value their employees. Regardless as to how big the firm is or how new the company is. As long as the work environment is really good, and employees are well compensated, i guess it’ll be able to maintain its asset employees. Aside from the fact of career growth of course..
